Role Description: Finance Administrator – Accounts Payable/Receivable
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania (Hybrid work option available)
As a Finance Administrator – Accounts Payable/Receivable at MyPayATM, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial transactions of our company. Your responsibilities will include:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy, and processing invoices efficiently.
- Timely Payments: Ensuring that payments are made promptly, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and addressing any payment discrepancies.
- Financial Records: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, adhering to accounting principles and practices.
- Collaboration: Collaborating effectively with other members of the finance team to ensure the seamless operation of financial processes.
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A diploma in accounting is preferred.
- Previous experience in accounts payable/receivable or general accounting.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Bookkeeping skills.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and vendors.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and manage time efficiently.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
