Vacancies at Aventus Group Dar es Salaam; We have recently entered a new market, so our Tanzania business is currently in search of Legal Professionals to take the position of Head of Legal at Aventus Group Tanzania.
Your responsibilities:
- Create an Internal policies, procedures and customer contracts.
- Trademark (Brand) registration process.
- Review of contracts (including labour contracts and other ordinary transactional contracts), correspondence, and any other documents of the Company, or preparation and drafting thereof, for the purposes of protecting the Company against legal, commercial and financial risks. Manage and advise on possible conflict of interest arising in workplace between the employees and the Company.
- Advise on the most appropriate type of employment contracts, labour policies and labour trends to avoid future conflicts.
- Encourage and facilitate on amicable ways of foreseen dispute resolution.
- The provision of legal advice on matters referred by the Company, the research of relevant legislation, precedent, and other sources of law.
- Handling immigration and relocation related matters, including the preparation and filing of the visa applications, work and residence permits.
- Handling corporate secretarial matters of the Company, including change of the directors, secretaries, shareholding structure, address of the company, allotment of shares and other governance matters.
- (board meetings and annual general meetings) and recording minutes of the meetings and keeping safe custody of the Company documents.
- General notarial duties such as certification and attestations.
- Monitoring and updates on all legal developments in Tanzania, inclusive of regulatory compliance, tax, and financial matters, relevant to the Company’s interests and acting accordingly.
Requirements necessary:
- 2+ years of managing experience.
- Experience in microlending products development.
- Know court practice and legislation perfectly.
- Will be open and creative for our recommendations.
