Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of project discipline scope elements within budget and schedule
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of project team’s work and reach the overall project objectives
- Serves as technical liaison with client at staff level for work within the discipline
- Assists with project management duties
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Prepare the engineering design documents and confirming the project’s requirements
- Prepare concept and detail drawings, specifications, technical reports and other contract documents
- Performs the concept design, drawings and 3D models
- Performs various analysis using relevant design criteria, codes and standards
- Performs other duties assigned
- Conducts quality assurance checks on a frequent basis in order to ensure regulations are being followed
- Produces conceptual plans, renderings, and documents which clearly outline architectural design of project
- Plans and programs layout of project, coordinates and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval
- Utilises computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans
- Works in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams
- Assists in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture
- 3 years relevant experience
- Proficient in English
- Having a good knowledge of American standards and Eurocodes
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/ SketchUp
- High attention to detail
- Strategic thinker with demonstrated collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to make sound decisions based on site field conditions
- Ability to work successfully and professionally with client contacts
- Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
- Ability to provide elegant and efficient design solutions
- Excellent oral and written communication
