The Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC) Anounced new job vacancy 16August 2022,The Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC) was established under the Public Corporation Act No. 17 of 1969 by the President order through Government notice number 115, published on 25th August 1978.
The Centre is wholly owned by the Government of Tanzania and operates under the Purview of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The Centre operates as a fully-fledged commercial entity without Government subvention.
The provision of conference services is the core business. However, AICC also rents out offices at the headquarters’ complex and housing units in Arusha Municipality. The Centre provides health services through its medium-sized 32 bed hospital in the Arusha Municipality.
AICC also owns and operates the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) located at the heart of the City of Dar es Salaam. JNICC is a multi-purpose built Conference Centre in Dar-es-Salaam city, with sophisticated audio-video, communication and information technology.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
I.To inspect conferences and offices to ensure are done according to the laid down procedures;
II.To maintain all building systems as assigned;
III.To do maintenance and repair of AICC facilities;
IV.To repair and replace worn out or damaged property;
V.To keep records for every maintenance and repair works undertaken; and
VI.To perform any other duties relevant to the scope of work that may be assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of Form IV/VI Certificate of Secondary Education plus National Vocational Award Level III in Plumbing for a plumber from a recognized institution.
