Guests Relations Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Supports all property operations, ensuring that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided.
  • Responsible for all Guest Experience functions.
  • Areas of responsibility include overseeing and managing the Guest Relations Department- inclusive of Guest Relations Agents, Concierge and VIP services.
  • Manages the flow of questions and directs guests through entire resort
  • Supports the tracking and resolution of service issues.
  • Ensuring that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided.
  • Supports hotel management in resolving any guest or hotel related situation.
  • Is responsible for proactively enhancing the whole guest experience from post arrival to pre departure and when required.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong ability to forge professional relationships with guest, co-workers and leaders
  • Ability to maintain hotel’s standards, policies and procedures
  • Professional image and personality including confidence
  • Team player, working well with other departments and co-workers
  • Full Comprehension of hospitality software
  • Should be creative, innovative and strive for continuous improvement
  • Organized and focused in high stress situations
  • Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office (Excel/Word)
  • Fluency in English language – both written and spoken
  • Ability to ensure security and confidentiality of guests
  • Ability to overcome objections, understand and respond appropriately to guest inquiries and needs while remaining calm and courteous
  • Ability to multi task and take on cross functional tasks when required
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to direct and supervise others
  • Ability to train and develop others
  • Initiate and involve in additional projects and duties as assigned by leaders and ability to match the deadline.

Requirement:

Candidates must have at least 2 years’ experience in the same position or within Front of House resort department.

College education or equivalent hospitality studies required.
