Finance Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

Control the Finance and Accounting functions of Client ensuring vigorous oversight, including the following: • Develop and maintain the Finance and Accounting functions for Client by ensuring the implementation of:

o effective financial controls and procedures;

o appropriate management accounting and reporting systems;

o responsibility for the Company’s ERP system (Pronto) and related databases;

o budgetary and cashflow controls and expenditure procedures; and

o appropriate Treasury controls.

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or a similar field.

Qualified accountant from one of the recognized Accountancy bodies or equivalent (CPA, ACCA etc).

Registered with NBAA in Tanzania.

Minimum of 15 years’ experience including leading a team of finance professionals.

Experience in a similar role in a mine development or operation.

Financial reporting.

Strong understanding of Tanzanian tax regulations and local content requirements.

Experience with Pronto.

Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Leadership. Builds and maintains strong working relationships.
