JOB TITLE: SALES OFFICER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- We are looking for highly motivated candidates who can develop relationships with new customers and retain old customers with good interpersonal and technical skills in the field of automotive lubricants (oils).
- Researching and identifying new market opportunities.
- Billing & Collections.
- To meet sales target and keep tracks of the targets on monthly basis.
- Grow sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Channel sales/development skills: Experience in handling distributors, retailers, mechanics
- Target planning: Distributor/retailer target planning to increase revenue
- Account extraction skills (increasing share of business out of total customer revenue)
- New customer onboarding: Experience in sourcing and converting new customers ∙ Ability to quickly resolve customer issues
- Customer Inventory management: understanding of customer inventory management to push sales when required
- Strong track record on achieving sales targets
- Demand generation/marketing skills
- Customer engagement skills to engage with mechanics for product promotion
- Understanding of fleet customer requirements and experience in conversion
- Strong desire for field visits.
- Good knowledge on auto components parts (excluding tyres)
- Market knowledge
- Deep knowledge on market, retailers, mechanics (should know major retailers/mechanics in the territory recruited for)
- Anticipate market needs, and work on accurate forecast with our customers
- Tractor industry experience
- Finance skills
- Financial understanding to help retailers, distributors, mechanics understand margin/incentive schemes
- Experience in collection management
- Reporting and data updating skills
- Excellent communication skills consisting of translate technical product knowledge to simple terms for customers
- Local language skills
- Orientation to achieve set targets
- Desire to learn new technical skills (new product introduction related)

- Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or any other related field -At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Experience in oil and lubricants would be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of financial budget, planning, and reporting.
