Provide operational leadership to the field service technicians:
To instruct and guide the technicians in the course of their work to ensure they abide by the correct working methods, procedures, and technical specifications/instructions.
To ensure each Technician has been allocated a job to keep him productively employed.
Propose training requirements to develop Technicians skills and capabilities in line with variant customer needs.
Assess and evaluate service reports from the service technicians before closing.
Build/Maintain a strong relationship with customers through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
Effectively handle each customer inquiry and complaints and assist the customer in resolving problems. Document customer complaints and submit to CTS Aftermarket manager for analysis and actions.
Monitor the work in progress, timely closing, and invoicing of service jobs in consultation with the service administrator.
Handle warranty related claims as per applicable warranty policy
Ensure adequate customer product support, by working closely with the Equipment sales team as well as warehouse and Logistics team.
Liaise with colleagues in other departments (Especially CT Product Sales and Supply Departments) to co-ordinate activities where appropriate to ensure that sales are obtained
Adhere to health and safety policy and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
Undertake ad-hoc project work as required.
Competences, Skills And Experience
The candidate should have good management skills with strong technical background that includes planning and time management.
Has experience in field service for Atlas Copco branded equipment.
