Basic Technician Certificate Programmes: Paving the Foundation

1. Basic Technician Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education

Duration: 1 year

Requisite Entry Qualification:

  • Grade IIIA Teaching Certificate or any other Certificate in a related field from recognized Institutions, along with at least two passes in Certificate of Secondary Education examinations in non-religious subjects; OR
  • Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (CSEE) with four passes in non-religious subjects.

2. Basic Technician Certificate in Distance Education

Duration: 1 year

Requisite Entry Qualification:

  • Basic Technician Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education or related fields; OR
  • Grade IIIA Teaching Certificate or any Certificate in a related field from recognized Institutions, combined with a Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (CSEE) featuring at least four passes in non-religious subjects.

Ordinary Diploma Programmes: Nurturing Specialized Expertise

1. Ordinary Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education

Duration: 2 years

Requisite Entry Qualification:

  • Basic Technician Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education or related fields; OR
  • Grade “IIIA” Teaching Certificate or any Certificate in a related field from recognized Institutions, along with a Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (CSEE) featuring at least four passes in non-religious subjects; OR
  • Advanced Certificate in Secondary Education Examinations (Form Six) with at least any two principal passes.

2. Ordinary Diploma in Adult Education and Community Development

Duration: 2 years

  • Relevant Basic Technician Certificate or Certificate from recognized Institutions; OR
  • Grade “IIIA” Teaching Certificate or any Certificate in a related field from recognized Institutions, along with a Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (CSEE) featuring at least four passes in non-religious subjects; OR
  • Advanced Certificate in Secondary Education Examinations (Form Six) with at least any two principal passes.

2. Bachelor Degree in Adult Education and Community Development

Duration: 3 years

Requisite Entry Qualification:

  • Ordinary Diploma in Adult Education and Community Development with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or above; OR
