REPORTING TO: CENTER DIRECTOR
Holder of Ordinary Diploma or Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in the field of mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification from recognized institution. Experience of working in production of herbal medicines factory and skills in computer operations will be added advantages.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To undertake maintenance of motor vehicle;
- To maintain workshop machinery and plants;
- To service refrigerator and air conditioning facilities;
- To service mechanical handling equipment and ancillary plants;
- To maintain maintenance records; and
- To perform any other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor.
JOB POSITION: THE OFFICE ASSISTANT (1 POST)
REPORTING TO: HEAD OF HUMAN RESOURCES
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Holder of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with passes in English and Kiswahili with working experience of at least four (4) years in related fields.
- To clean offices, equipment, and compound of the Institute’s offices;
- To prepare office tea/refreshments for staff and official visitors;
- To open doors and windows in the morning, check and switch off electrical equipment, close windows and lock office doors at the end of office hours;
- To make photocopy on official documents; and
- To perform other relevant duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
JOB POSITION: PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNICIAN (2 POSTS)
REPORTING TO: PRODUCTION MANAGER.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Holder of Diploma in Pharmacy or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions. Must have successfully completed one (1) year Internship and must be enrolled by the Pharmacy Council.
- Handling of raw materials and finished products
- Participate in production of pharmaceutical products
- Monitor critical quality attributes during production and packaging of finished products
- Perform analysis of raw materials and finished products
- Maintain manufacturing and quality control records
- Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor
TERMS: One (1) year contract which may be renewed based on performance and mutual agreement.

- Able to work under pressure in a multi-tasking setting. (iv) Ability to work under minimal supervision.
COMPENSATION:
Salary will be offered as per Government of Tanzania’s Salary Scale.
